Based in Newmarket, George Boughey has held a licence as a Racehorse Trainer since 2019. Having learnt his trade under the likes of Hugo Palmer and Gai Waterhouse, it is no surprise to see how rapid a start George has made to life in the training ranks.
George has already trained over 350 winners, the highlight of which is undoubtedly Cachet’s win in the 2022 1000 Guineas which marked George’s first Group 1 winner.
He has since enjoyed further success both in handicaps at Royal Ascot and at the highest level courtesy of Via Sistina in the Group 1 Pretty Polly Stakes last season.
The future continues to look very bright for the team at Saffron House Stables.
