Robert “Rab” Havlin has been an essential part of the John Gosden team for two decades. First at Manton and for the last 14 years at Clarehaven in Newmarket. John Gosden has been Champion Trainer in the UK four times in the last decade and Havlin has played a crucial role in developing some of the greatest horses in recent memory including Enable, Stradivarius, Cracksman and Kingman.
Humble, loyal and incredibly hard-working, Havlin has also enjoyed some big race successes himself. He recently rode a first career Group 1 winner and has won a total of 24 Group races aboard the likes of Commissioning, Lord North, Fanny Logan and Mehdaayih.
