Irish jump jockey Barry Geraghty is the second most successful jockey of all time at the Cheltenham Festival with 43 winners. He retired in the summer of 2020 as the 4th winningest jockey of all time with only AP McCoy, Ruby Walsh and Richard Johnson ahead of him. Amongst his 43 Festival winners he won four Champion Hurdles, five Champion Chases, one Stayers’ Hurdle and two Gold Cups.

He was voted Irish sports personality of the year in 2013 after winning five races at Cheltenham and the Grand National at Aintree on Monty’s Pass. Moscow Flyer, Kicking King, Bobs Worth and Sprinter Sacre are just four of the best horses he has been associated with over the years.
