Nico is stable jockey to six-time Champion Trainer Nicky Henderson and the winning-most active British jumps jockey at Grade 1 level, with 50 top-flight wins and 17 Cheltenham Festival winners. He won the 2015 Gold Cup on Coneygree (the first novice to do so in 41 years), the Queen Mother Champion Chase three times on Sprinter Sacre and Altior, and the 2023 Champion Hurdle on the brilliant Constitution Hill. After returning from a serious neck injury in 2025 he enjoyed a superb 2025/26 campaign, winning the Ascot Chase on Jonbon and opening the 2026 Cheltenham Festival aboard Old Park Star in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle.
